I saw "Night at the Museum" Monday night. Really enjoyed it, a sort of light hearted Jumanji affair and everything you'd expect, pretty funny in places and really well done.

Seen it before, great film, kinda expected the end though, not going into anymore detail incase some people haven't seen it.

Saw MI3 the other day an improvement over the 2nd, still debating whether I prefered the original over it though. Its a lot more 'darker' then the others which made it good film, really got into the film.

Really hated MI 1 & 2 so figured 3 isn't going to be for me.
Love the TV series too much.

that's the one with Ray Liotta and some serial killer right?

I thought it was quite good, wouldn't say it was great but not bad :)

Okay, movie fest till 4am this morning with ickle and her mate ...

Memoirs of a Geisha -

In 1929 an impoverished nine-year-old named Chiyo from a fishing village is sold to a geisha house in Kyoto's Gion district and subjected to cruel treatment from the owners and the head geisha Hatsumomo. Her stunning beauty attracts the vindictive jealousy of Hatsumomo, until she is rescued by and taken under the wing of Hatsumomo's bitter rival, Mameha. Under Mameha's mentorship, Chiyo becomes the geisha named Sayuri, trained in all the artistic and social skills a geisha must master in order to survive in her society. As a renowned geisha she enters a society of wealth, privilege, and political intrigue. As World War II looms Japan and the geisha's world are forever changed by the onslaught of history.

I haven't read the book, so i can't compare. I enjoyed the film, but it was a little long IMO. Worth seeing, but not a film i would go out and buy.

 "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
Once More, with Feeling -

Sunnydale is alive with the sound of music as a mysterious force causes everyone in town to burst into full musical numbers, revealing their innermost secrets as they do. But some townsfolk are dancing so much that they simply burst into flames, and it becomes clear that maybe living in a musical isn't so great after all.

I love this episode of Buffy, it's like a little musical movie all of it's own.

Bring It On -

The Toro cheerleading squad from Rancho Carne High School in San Diego has got spirit, spunk, sass and a killer routine that's sure to land them the national championship trophy for the sixth year in a row. But for newly-elected team captain Torrance (Kirsten Dunst), the Toros' road to total cheer glory takes a shady turn when she discovers that their perfectly-choreographed routines were in fact stolen from the Clovers, a hip-hop squad from East Compton, by the Toro's former captain. While the Toros scramble to come up with a new routine, the Clovers, led by squad captain Isis (Gabrielle Union) have their own problems - coming up with enough money to cover their travel expenses to the championships. With time running out and the pressure mounting, both captains drive their squads to the point of exhaustion: Torrance, hell bent on saving the Toros' reputation, and Isis more determined than ever to see that the Clovers finally get the recognition that they deserve. But only one team can bring home the title, so may the best moves win.

This is a really girly, funny, feel good movie, it never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Cruel Intentions -

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe star as a pair of unscrupulous siblings in a sexy tale of seduction, revenge and conquest. After cleverly seducing and ruining the reputation of an unsuspecting classmate (Selma Blair), the sparks fly when Kathryn (Gellar) poses the ultimate challenge to her insatiable stepbrother Sebastian (Phillippe): deflower the Headmaster's beautiful, virgin daughter Annette (Reese Witherspoon). If he fails, Kathryn gets his 1956 jaguar convertible, but if he succeeds, Sebastain gets to possess and bed Kathryn. The stakes are high, but for Sebastian, the payoff is feverishly irresistible and before the summer's over, no one will escape their relentless game of cat and mouse . . . until one of them is bitten by the most unlikely sensation of all . . . love.

A modern remake of Dangerous Liaisons. Fantastic film, Kathryn is an evil bitch and a great twist at the end.

The Worlds Fastest Indian -

Based on an true story. The life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.

Amazing film, i had no idea it was based on a true story till hubby said, to tell the truth i didn't think i would enjoy it, i thought it would be boring, but i was very wrong. His land speed record still hasn't been broken to date on a less than 1000cc bike.

Maybe hubby should start working on Daisy or Pheobe!
